Today I wasn't in my normal class, I was in room 8 it's really good to see and compare the different learning and teaching styles of each class. I was fortunate enough to observe a charged writing lesson which is what I needed to do. It was good yo see the teacher get really involved and stuck in, which in turn made the students engaged more. In the afternoon we did a science lesson talking about how and what plants need to grow. The teacher gave all the CT's the same group of kids as we did for a grass buddy groups. We had to take them through a task that our teacher had previously set up. Learnt that even though you can plan and structure a lesson that you really need to be able to think on your feet cause things can change in an instance, and one thing that you can plan for 1/2 an hour can be over in 10-15 minutes.
9th April
Today I was able to do my maths observation task with my focus child, I took a reading group which was a success I was able to establish what I needed and what the needed to do to meet the behavioural standards
