On the 2nd I had a reliever so today was a bit up and down but I took it as great experience because I was still able to ask kids about how they learn and what they do with it. Even though they are one worded answers it is still good to know how they are grasping their own learning. After lunch we moved in to room 10 to take our science observations and was successfully able to choose a focus child. Today's experiment was about grass buddies. Growing grass from seeds through sheet cloth. I was able to take a group 0f 4-5 students and demonstrate to them how it was meant to be done. All in all I think last couple of days were good, and was a real help.

1st April/ 2nd April
The last to days have been full on due to the amount of things we need to do... And I can say I really love it and I'm excited to do more work. On the 1st I was able to sit in on a shared reading exercise where I took notes for 5.01 this was really a challenging experience because I was trying to focus in on what the teacher was doing and how the kids were responding, so I'll have to ask my teacher to do another one so I can really focus in more and answer the questions better. I also observed a maths lesson for 5.03 and I was able to choose my focus child, he is of Fijian descent so I think culturally will be a big difference. This will be a challange because my teacher said that the will not have much of a clue on how time works but I don't see this as a barrier but a challange :D I can't wait to engage with his learning. I have a lot of ideas to bring to the table.
